UCF Sport Clubs now boast 4 teams that placed third at their respective national tournament, including Roller Hockey, M. Volleyball, Ice Hockey, and Wrestling.
Ultimate
The Ultimate team went into Regionals as the 7 seed and 15th in the nation, however they left number 4 in the region only losing to North Carolina (unfortunately, the team lost to them twice and the second time ended the cinderella run to nationals). The final win of the season over the original 4th seeded team (UNC-Wilmington) was one for the ages, and we drew a spectacular crowd for
both that game and the North Carolina game.
Here is the website with the official results. 4TH IN THE ATLANTIC COAST REGION, THE HARDEST REGION IN AMERICA! WOOO! Our boys played their hearts
out, we gave everything we had, and went home with no regrets. It was our best tournament of the year, or, ever, for that matter. Even though we didn't make it to nationals, we did more than anyone expected. I don't think anyone from UCF left unhappy with our performance.
